The rebound
Stocks rallied yesterday on light volume as investors seemed tentative to
jump back in. The Dow regained 68 of the 166-points it lost on Friday.
For the
TSP, the C-fund gained 0.77% yesterday, the S-fund
gained 0.79%, the I-fund added 0.72%, and the F-fund (bonds)
slipped 0.16%.
The bounce is typical after a large sell-off like we saw on Friday, although
there was reason to believe we could see continued selling today because the
unrest in Cairo is not easing. To me, this is a positive sign, but
sometimes these dead-cat bounces don't last much more than a day or two so
we will no more in the coming days.

We are so due for a pullback but the market
environment is so good that I expect buyers to step up quickly on dips.
Yesterday, they did that. Now we just have to wait to see what they do
next.
The TSP's L-2050 fund starts today.
Here is the starting allocation for the L-2050:

See

new fund.
I have been up to my eyeballs in coding and customer service functions over
the few days so I am going to take a little break from the commentary since
the market is really tough to call here.
