Fed gives temporary relief

Stocks opened sharply lower yesterday but the Fed's policy statement seemed to bring buyers to the table.  After hitting the break even mark just before 3 PM ET, the market drifted lower again and the Dow closed down 54-points.

For the TSP, t
he C-fund lost 0.59%, the S-fund dropped 1.60%, and the I-fund fell 0.78%.  The F-fund (bonds) added 0.09%.

The S&P 500 temporarily broke below the support of the rising wedge, but closed back within it.  resistance above still looms and the index remains in a tight trading range, coiling up for its next move.

I'm on vacation for the next week so I will be cutting the commentaries short.

Thanks for reading!  I'll touch base again tomorrow.
